Job description

Position Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting in the execution of all operational and merchandising functions within the store during their assigned shift. They provide excellent customer service to every guest.

Major Responsibilities

1. Driving Sales:
   • Drive sales to achieve and exceed personal and store goals.
   • Handle funds and merchandise according to company policies.
   • Assist with scheduling at least one grassroots event per quarter.
   • Manage merchandise effectively.
   • Support marketing initiatives.
2. Customer Experience:
   • Provide exceptional customer service.
   • Educate customers as a product knowledge expert.
   • Model company values and serve as a role model for other associates.
   • Drive PLCC to enhance brand loyalty.
3. Operations:
   • Assist in merchandising, display maintenance, and visual updates.
   • Replenish floor stock.
   • Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
   • Communicate with management on key issues.
   • Adhere to store policies and procedures.
   • Manage time effectively.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6-12 months retail experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform retail math and operate POS systems.
• High initiative, accountability, and flexibility.
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
• Physical ability to lift 30 lbs, stand for 8-10 hours, and use ladders.
• Flexible schedule including some holidays, weekends, and evenings.
• Minimal travel for district meetings or banking duties.

Interaction & Reporting

Daily interaction across all divisions/levels. Reports to Store Manager.
