Job summary

EPTAM Precision Plastics in Northfield, NH seeks a Class A Machinist - 1st Shift to perform complex set-ups and operate 5-axis CNC equipment. Eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus, you will contribute to high-precision plastic components used in medical technologies.

The role involves first-piece inspection, tool optimization, and strict adherence to procedures to ensure quality and on-time production.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; trade school preferred.
• 5+ years in manufacturing setting up and operating manual and CNC equipment; internships/part-time acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up machines for production runs, including 5-axis cells.
• Collaborate during NPI to determine proper setup and procedures.
• Suggest tooling/fixtures to improve efficiency and quality.
• Load and feed machines to produce finished parts; maintain production flow.
• Perform first piece and in-process inspection and document results.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP and related systems.
• Follow work instructions, checklists, and set-up notes; recall CMM programs.
