Prince Industries, a Tampa-based manufacturer, is hiring a 5-axis CNC Setup Machinist to set up, prove out, and run complex parts on milling machines and grinders. The role requires read-and-prove-out of Siemens controls, GD&T blueprint interpretation, and precise tool offsets.

Expected to work the 2nd shift (4-10s: Mon-Thu 3:30 PM–2:00 AM) and to OT as needed. Compensation ranges per hour with benefits, including medical, 401(k), and paid time off, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• Requires 5-axis CNC setup and proving out experience.
• Hands-on Siemens CNC controls experience.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience selecting tools, offsets, and troubleshooting machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC mills with fixtures and probing routines.
• Read drawings and CNC programs to plan each setup.
• Load and prove out programs with safe practices and first runs.
• Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Adjust tool offsets and programs to maintain tolerances.
• Identify and resolve setup, tooling, and machining issues.
