Job summary

Averro is seeking a seasoned 5-Axis CNC Programmer/Machinist for our aerospace manufacturing operations in Auburn, WA. The role focuses on programming and running tight-tolerance aerospace components, advancing careers in aerospace machining.

You will write and run Mastercam code, troubleshoot, read blueprints, inspect with metrology tools, log data in JobBoss ERP/MRP, and uphold quality and safety. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in aerospace machining and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of aerospace machining and programming experience.
• Proficient in Mastercam with 5-axis CNC programming and setup; blueprint reading, metrology, and ERP/MRP skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and run 5-axis CNC machines to produce tight-tolerance aerospace parts.
• Write and run Mastercam code; troubleshoot programs and improve cycle times.
• Read blueprints and work orders; inspect parts with micrometers and other metrology tools.
• Log process and time data in the ERP/MRP system (JobBoss) and follow quality procedures.
• Maintain machines and a safe shop; support continuous improvement.
