Job summary

Kingspan Light + Air is seeking a CNC Operator/Programmer to produce skylight components. You will set up, program, and run a 5-axis CNC machine, interpret blueprints, and collaborate with engineering to optimize programs for efficiency.

Responsibilities include quality checks, tool selection, and maintaining safety standards. The role requires physical capability and teamwork in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience as a CNC Machine Operator, preferably in doors/windows manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency with CNC machine operation and setup, including programming basics.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines for skylight component production.
• Interpret drawings to program CNC machines and optimize programs.
• Conduct regular quality checks and adjust as needed to meet specs.
• Select tooling, monitor tool life, and perform tool changes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
