Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience setting up and operating multi-axis CNC mills (Class A level).
• Proficiency with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or Heidenhain controls.
• Solid understanding of G-code programming; CAM software (Mastercam, GibbsCAM) is a major plus.
• Background in reading blueprints and applying GD&T standards.
• Expert skill with hand-held measuring equipment and precision tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling machines independently.
• Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, GD&T callouts, and technical specifications.
• Perform G-code and M-code edits at the machine control level; optimize feeds, speeds, and tooling paths.
• Select, assemble, and set cutting tools, work-holding fixtures, and attachments.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMM).
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and troubleshoot mechanical/operational issues.
