Job summary

Plansee USA LLC in Franklin, USA, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to contribute to transforming molybdenum and tungsten components. This hourly position requires setup and operation of Horizontal and Vertical 5-axis CNC machines with Kiwa and Okuma controls, and the ability to work across multiple machines.

You will read blueprints and GD&T, perform simple program edits, and use metrology tools from hand tools to CMM and optical comparators.

Qualifications

• CNC Machinist Level 2 or 3 with Kiwa/Okuma and Fanuc/Okuma controls.
• Set up and operate Horizontal and Vertical 5-Axis CNC machines.
• Contribute to multi-machine operation.
• Read blueprints and GD&T.
• Fluent with measuring equipment from hand tools to CMM/optical comparators.
• Read G and M codes.
• Perform simple program edits as needed.
• Set up complex jobs using work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines across multiple work centers.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Edit simple CNC programs as required.
• Utilize metrology tools including CMM and optical comparators to verify dimensions.
