Troy Design & Manufacturing Co. in Shelbyville, KY seeks an experienced 5-Axis CNC Machine Operator to safely set up, monitor, and operate 5-axis CNC equipment for die casting tooling components with strict tolerances.

Candidate will read complex drawings, interpret CAM programs, and maintain safety and quality standards while meeting production schedules. Prior 5-axis and multi-axis experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong machining fundamentals and attention to detail.
• Experience reading complex engineering drawings and CAM programs.
• Ability to read GD&T and perform in-process inspections.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines for die casting tooling components.
• Load and verify CNC programs, adjust offsets, and minor edits as needed.
• Install fixtures, workholding and cutting tools; select appropriate tooling.
• Machine tool steels and other tooling materials with precision.
• Read drawings and ensure conformance to tolerances and surface finishes.
• Perform routine inspections and document results per procedures.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area per 5S standards.
