A 5-axis milling background is desired. The position offers full-time hours (3:15 PM–1:45 AM, Monday–Thursday) with pay ranging from $28.00 to $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, plus shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, Technical/Vocational school preferred.
• Proven experience as a 5 axis Machinist in a production setting; 5 years preferred.
• Read and understand blueprints, engineering drawings, SOPs and other technical information in English.
• Attention to detail, good mathematical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate and control processes on machines
• Select and install tooling, work holding and fixtures appropriate for each job
• Maintain and perform daily preventative machine maintenance; troubleshoot and solve routing problems and issues
• Document work performed and maintain production records
