Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Mazak 5-axis CNC machining center, including loading and unloading materials and fixtures.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to understand specifications and determine the optimal machining process.
• Verify program accuracy and make necessary adjustments to ensure parts meet dimensional requirements.
• Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM).
• Monitor machine operation, identify and troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and other team members to optimize machining processes and resolve production issues.
• Accurately complete production records and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the machining department.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven Experience:Minimum of 3 years of hands-on CNC machining experience.
• Technical Proficiency:Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and machining processes.
• Skilled Operator:Proficiency in operating CNC machines, setting up tools, and using measuring instruments.
• Problem-Solver:Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and implement effective solutions.
