Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Mathematical concepts including fractions, percentages, ratios, and geometry.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate saws to meet print specifications and shop orders.
• Maintain production standards.
• May work at any workstation to meet production requirements.
• Inspect products using calipers, tape measure and squares.
• Perform rework on nonconforming products when required.
• Complete all operation-related documentation.
• Keep the workstation clean and orderly.
• May train new employees in the area.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisors.
