WebstaurantStore is seeking a Material Handler for our Savannah distribution center to pick, consolidate, pack and ship orders accurately and on time.

You will operate warehouse systems and equipment, including handheld scanners and forklifts, and work with ERP tools to ensure safe, efficient processes and quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Retrieve items from racking accurately and efficiently using handheld scanning devices and ERP system.
Sort and consolidate picked items using handheld scanners, preparing customer orders for shipment processing.
Pack products accurately and securely using internal SPS system, focusing on customer experience.
Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and computers, following safety protocols.
Meet performance standards for efficiency, accuracy and quality of work.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following safety guidelines.
Work with team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
Abide by all company and warehouse policies.

Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals
Abide by all company and warehouse policies
Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation

Job Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that all orders are picked, consolidated, packed and shipped in a timely and accurate manner. These tasks must be completed to an efficient and accurate standard to ensure smooth outbound operations. This position requires use of our internal warehouse systems and various warehouse equipment, which may include Powered Industrial Trucks.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Physical Requirements

Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.

Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.

Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.

Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.

Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.

Experience

1 year+ of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required.

Education
