Davidson Charter Academy in Lexington, NC is seeking a passionate 4th grade teacher to join our team. The role focuses on delivering engaging, standards-aligned lessons and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's in education, possess or be eligible for NC licensure, and bring strong classroom management, collaboration, and effective time management. This is a full-time, 10-month position with contract renewal based on performance and funding.

Davidson Charter Academy is seeking a passionate and qualified Elementary Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills, a commitment to student success, and the ability to create engaging, effective lesson plans that align with state standards.

Salary & Benefits

Prorated based on start date

• Salary based on the NC Certified Teacher Salary Schedule, years of experience, and licensure status
• A possible 3% local supplement
• Up to 6% Employer 403(b) Contribution Match
• 10 PTO days per year (unused PTO rolls over until maximum accrual is reached)

Employment Terms

All teachers at Davidson Charter Academy are on one-year contracts. Contract renewal is contingent upon successful performance, completion of duties and expectations, and available funding.
