Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Elementary Education, Science Education, or a related field.
• Valid state teaching certification or licensure for elementary education (or ability to obtain).
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Education or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging 4th grade science lessons aligned with state standards and the school curriculum.
• Create hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences that encourage exploration and problem solving.
• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to monitor student progress.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs of students.
• Use data from formative and summative assessments to guide instruction and improve student outcomes.
• Establish and maintain a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with grade-level teachers, instructional coaches, and administration to support student achievement.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and expectations.
