Job summary

Brilla Schools, a Bronx-based K-8 network, seeks an Elementary School Math teacher to deliver standards-aligned instruction and foster a culture of growth, virtue, and inquiry. You will work with a grade-level team (2–4) to implement Brilla’s rigorous curriculum while building strong relationships with students and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Current elementary teaching certification (preferred).
• Urban, elementary teaching experience with demonstrated student results (preferred).
• Special Education credential and experience (highly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Participate in ongoing professional development and coaching cycles.
• Establish a structured, welcoming classroom culture.
• Deliver rigorous, classically-inspired math lessons for one grade level (2–4).
• Collaborate with Math content teachers and grade-level colleagues.
• Partner with families to strengthen home–school connection and accountability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
