Job summary

BASIS Ed is seeking a qualified 4th Grade Math Teacher to join our team and start ASAP. The role focuses on designing and delivering high-quality math lessons aligned with BASIS Curriculum, in a co-taught elementary setting.

You will collaborate with LETs to meet students’ academic needs, provide engaging instruction, and promote excellence in a world-class education program at BASIS Ed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 24+ credit hours in subject matter.
• Master’s degree in subject matter or education preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans.
• Provide instruction at a higher level than grade standard in an interactive learning environment.
• Implement the BASIS Curriculum with creative lessons and assessments.
• Collaborate with BASIS Curriculum teachers to develop curriculum materials.
• Tutor students in content-specific knowledge and skills.
• Manage student behavior to foster achievement, responsibility, and respect.
• Support non-instructional functions such as Early Bird, Late Bird, and lunch.
• Maintain regular, full attendance and supervise students.
