Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 24 credit hours in the content area requirements.
• Passing Praxis test for certification area OR valid Louisiana Teaching License is required.
• Strong technical skills, particularly in integrating technology in the classroom to drive academic achievement.
• Demonstrated volunteer or community service.
• TAP Experience.
• Experience with Blended Learning.
• At least two years of successful teaching in an urban environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a blended learning environment with direct/indirect instruction in ELA/Social Studies.
• Participate in TAP requirements and data-driven instruction.
• Create an engaging learning environment to develop student critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Prepare students for strong academic achievement and required assessments.
• Communicate regularly with parents and keep them informed of progress.
