Job summary

Great Hearts Academies is seeking a Fourth Grade Teaching Assistant / Apprentice Teacher at the Great Hearts Northern Oaks Lower School in San Antonio, TX. You will support the lead teacher in delivering the Core Knowledge curriculum and help foster a respectful, intellectually vibrant classroom community.

This role offers mentorship with a Master Teacher, a path to professional growth, and exposure to a classical liberal arts approach in K‑5 education.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• US work authorization required.
• Criminal history background check and fingerprint clearance may apply.
• ParaPro or equivalent credential may be preferred in some locations.
