Job summary

Great Hearts Forest Heights Lower School in San Antonio seeks a 5th Grade Teaching Assistant/Apprentice Teacher. You will support the lead teacher in delivering a Core Knowledge curriculum and learn teaching craft through mentorship with a Master Teacher.

Roles include assisting instruction, maintaining an orderly classroom, and engaging in ongoing professional growth within a classical liberal arts setting. Bachelor’s preferred but not required; US work authorization mandatory.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• US work authorization is required.
• Criminal history background check and fingerprint clearance required.
• ParaPro proficiency exam may be required depending on location.
