Job summary
Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. seeks a 4th/5th Gen Fighter Pilot SME to provide 40–60 hours monthly Red Team support for the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) during simulator test mission execution, including pre-mission planning and post-mission reporting.
The role is based at Edwards AFB with no relocation required; travel approximately one week per month is expected. Requirements include 8+ years of military aviation and 3+ years in 4th/5th Gen systems; Active Secret clearance initially,
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of military tactical aviation experience.
- Minimum of 3 years experience with 4th/5th Gen systems and operations.
- Willingness to travel approximately 1 week per month.
- Ability to lead flight test missions and interface with discipline engineers.
Responsibilities
- Provide 40 - 60 hours per month of Red Air Simulated Pilot Support for the JSE.
- Support as 4th/5th Gen Fighter Pilot SME for NGTS team.
- Develop JSE Test Plans and Test Cards for event execution.
- Daily communications with JSE customers/SMEs and supporting sub-contractors.
- Liaison between military personnel and NGTS Operators.
- Assist software team in developing an advanced synthetic training environment.
- Conduct general subject matter research and assessments.
- Act as technical liaison to outside organizations.
- Participate in software test activities.
