Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks a 4th/5th Gen Fighter Pilot SME to provide 40–60 hours/month of Red Team support at Edwards AFB. This role involves pre-mission planning, post-mission reporting, and test-card creation, with approximately one week of travel monthly.

The candidate should have 8+ years of military aviation, 3+ years in 4th/5th Gen ops, and the maturity to lead flight test missions while interfacing with engineers and customers. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of military tactical aviation experience.
• 3+ years with 4th/5th Gen systems and operations.
• Ability to lead flight test missions and briefings.
• Proven report writing and post-flight documentation.
• Willingness to adapt to evolving customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 40–60 hours/month of Red Air support for JSE.
• Serve as SME for 4th/5th Gen fighter systems with NGTS.
• Develop JSE Test Plans and Test Cards for events.
• Communicate daily with customers, SMEs, and subcontractors.
• Liaise between military personnel and NGTS operators.
• Assist software team in creating synthetic training environments.
• Conduct basic research, analysis, and assessment.
