Job summary

Bowman Andros Products is seeking a 4oz Machine Operator 1 to ensure continuous, efficient production on the 4oz line including cup loader, sleeve inspector, divider, and palletizer operations. You will monitor, operate, and maintain equipment, verify packaging specs, and support safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to identify all machine safety features and operate machinery safely.
• Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Regular and reliable attendance required.
• PPE must be worn in Production Area.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management and maintenance.
• Ability to safely use hand and mechanical tools.
• Ability to safely use a hot glue gun and replace glue stick.
• Strong math, reading and writing skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Excellent oral and written communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor assigned workstations to meet production standards.
• Cross-train to gain knowledge of other functions on the 4oz line.
• Monitor machines and conveyors for safe operation and efficiency.
• Check containers, labels, seals meet SOPs.
• Diagnose and clear minor jams; record tallies.
• Notify maintenance for major issues.
• Maintain Lot Control numbers.
• Load/unload pallets and product as needed.
• Understand pumps, belts, meters, valves, conveyors.
• Complete changeover/startup/shutdown procedures.
• Communicate line stoppages and pallet transfer.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Uphold food safety and quality standards.
• Other duties as needed.
