Job summary

Once Upon a Time Child Care Center in Verona is hiring a 4K (Pre-K) Preschool Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. The role may be morning-only part-time or full-time, leading the Pre-K program in the morning and a second classroom in the afternoon. Start by August 17, 2026; immediate interviews.

Must be DPI licensed for Pre-K through 8th grade or have a comparable degree. We seek positive, energetic, caring individuals who guide and nurture children with developmentally appropriate

• Experience with classroom management and child development.

Job description

Once Upon a Time Child Care Center has been partnering and contracting with the Verona Area School District since 2012 to provide 4K education to Verona area families. The program is called Verona Pre-K. Once Upon a Time is hiring a 4K (Pre-K) Preschool Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. At this time, the position will be working alone in a classroom of less than 12 students in a morning-only session. Candidates are welcome to apply for the morning-only part-time position (with summers off, if preferred); or, candidates may apply for a full-time position in which they would lead the Pre-K (4K) program in the morning and then lead another classroom in the afternoon.

We are doing immediate interviews. Candidates can start immediately, however, must start by August 17, 2026. Candidates must be DPI licensed for Pre-K through 8th grade or a comparable degree and license.
