Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Sanitation/Warehouse associate in Gainesville, FL to maintain a clean and safe work environment across dry, cooler, and freezer areas. You will perform janitorial tasks, follow hazmat guidelines, and support health and safety policies.

Responsibilities include completing tasks per safety standards, using pallet jacks to move refuse, and participating in required training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6 months of general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to work all three warehouse zones: Freezer, Cooler and Dry.
• Must be available to work the schedule: Monday - Friday 4AM-12:30PM.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Preferred: 12 months of sanitation/cleaning experience, pallet jack experience, pallet jack certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports unsafe conditions or acts to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties in warehouse areas, including dusty, sweeping, mopping, and trash pickup.
• Handles cleaning chemicals as directed on hazmat material sheets.
• May operate pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to receptacles.
• Completes training modules and performs related duties as assigned.
