Job summary

Texas Health Mansfield is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to join our imaging team. As an MR technologist you will perform MRI procedures, educate patients, and ensure safety and high-quality imaging under daily rhythm from Monday to Friday.

Requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT, BLS, 1+ year radiology experience preferred, associate degree or equivalent, and strong customer service skills. This role offers a competitive pay rate and the opportunity to contribute to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low; Educates patients and family about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions.
• Positions patients accurately and comfortably using immobilization and coil placement techniques for high-quality imaging.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Performs and documents daily system QC checks in compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
