Job summary

A leading technology firm is seeking an EMC/File Net Administrator for a Contract to Hire position in Deerfield, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience with FileNet P8 and WebSphere administration in a medium to large environment. Responsibilities include supporting and maintaining Filenet systems alongside a comprehensive understanding of automation and Java application servers. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential, and local candidates are preferred for face-to-face interviews.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience supporting FileNet P8 and WebSphere administration.
• Comprehensive experience installing, patching, and maintaining Filenet P8 and WebSphere.
• Experience with automation via shell scripting or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of FileNet Core products for deploying Filenet ECM solutions.
• Automation experience via shell scripting, wsadmin, Jython, Jacl, Python or Perl.
• Experience managing Java application servers (WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat) and web servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS).
• Experience in AIX, RHEL, Windows environments; strong communication and documentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP; experience with DB2, Sybase, and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Support FileNet P8 and WebSphere administration in a fast-paced environment.
• Interface with multiple internal clients to deliver ECM solutions.
• Maintain, patch, and monitor FileNet P8, WebSphere and related web/application servers.

This is a Contract to Hire (CTH) role and looking for locals candidates who can do F2F interview.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

• BA/BS degree.
• 4+ years’ experience supporting FileNet P8 and WebSphere administration in a medium to large environment.
• Any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• Comprehensive experience installing, patching, and maintaining Filenet P8 and WebSphere in a standalone and clustered environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FileNet Core products involved in deploying Filenet ECM solutions.
• Experience with automation via shell scripting, wsadmin, Jython, Jacl, python, or perl.
• Experience managing Java application servers, including Websphere, Jboss, and Tomcat.
• Experience managing web servers, including apache, nginx, and IIS.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, rapidly evolving environment while interfacing with multiple internal clients.
• Experience working in AIX, RHEL, and Windows environments.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, and LDAP.
• Working knowledge of DB2, Sybase, and SQL Server.
