NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Security Officer Level 1 for night shifts (Sunday through Thursday). You will work under the Security Supervisor, coordinating with the DCOPS team to ensure secure operations and patient, safe handling of all personnel and property.

• Ensure all employees, clients, vendors, and visitors have proper company-issued ID.
• Patrol assigned posts on foot to maintain visibility.

• Investigate and report security, maintenance and safety conditions.
• Maintain concise daily documentation: shift reports, incident reports, logs.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the protection of personnel and company property, managing access control, monitoring CCTV systems, responding to incidents, and completing written reports. Team members are expected to collaborate with other departments to assist with matters about the efficient operation of the data center, including Shipping & Receiving. The position enforces and adheres to security procedures based on policies determined by the Security Management team. Your vigilance and attention to detail will contribute to maintaining a secure environment for the NTT Data Center customer and the infrastructure.

What we are looking for

The schedule for this position is night shift, Sunday through Thursday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures that all employees, clients, vendors, and visitors on company property have proper company-issued identification.
• Patrols assigned post on foot to maintain visibility and observes possible unusual activity.
• Ensures that the client, its associates, and NTT Data Center personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment.
• Monitor and maintain security technologies, including CCTV systems, and access control systems.
• Investigates, addresses, and reports security, maintenance, and safety conditions.
• Ensures daily administrative documentation is always concise and complete. This includes but not limited to, Shift Activity Reports, Incident Reports, Shift Passdown Logs, and other related written documentation.
• Adherence to NTT Data policy and security procedure manuals, in addition to Company policies.
• Assist personnel with security related requests.
• Completes assignments, related to access control audits, combustible audits, badge discrepancy audits, as directed by supervisory/management staff.
• Assist with Shipping and Receiving tasks as necessary. This includes accepting, logging, and tracking shipments during times when the primary S&R Officer is not on-site or otherwise unavailable.
• Responds to all site emergencies and coordinates with local emergency services.
• Investigates and reports fires, evacuations, hazardous situations/other facility-related events.
• Maintains familiarity with Security procedures and policies in addition to Company policies.
