Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking Manufacturing Production Workers to set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot production equipment on a day-to-day basis.

Typically a high school diploma or 1-2 years of vocational training/associates degree is required. You will work in a fast-paced environment with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency, contributing to the Bridgestone West production network.

Onboarding includes rigorous safety training and ongoing mentorship.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
  • Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
  • Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
  • Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Summary

Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment
