Qualifications

Job description

Retirement Plan Industry Recruiter

We are recruiting for an established TPA. This is a client-facing position that does not include doing non-discrimination testing or government forms preparation. You should be located in the Eastern or Central time zone.

About the employer:

This is an established TPA that has been voted a Top Place to work 5 times.

What you will do:

  • Work remotely
  • Manage relationships with clients and service delivery for 120 – 160 clients
  • Partner with internal teams like plan administration, compliance, and sales to deliver accurate information.
  • Also partner with external partners like CPAs, financial advisors, and attorneys who are involved with the plans.
  • Communicate daily with clients, using your knowledge of IRS and DOL regulations
  • Send out annual valuation reports
  • Deliver 5500, and 8955-SSA
  • Ensure 5500s extensions are filed timely
  • Send out yearend packages/census requests and follow up on receipt.

Experience you should have:

  • 5+ years of experience doing plan administration at a TPA. Although this position does not include doing administration, the employer believes that someone who has done administration makes for a better relationship manager.
  • Experience working with several recordkeeping platforms
  • QKA or desire to obtain
