The Fibroscan Technician provides direct patient care by performing Fibroscans. The technician will prepare reports for physician signature and billing. In addition, they perform various administrative responsibilities for the department, including scheduling/confirming Fibroscan appointments and answering phones. Incumbents will be certified by the manufacturer of the Fibroscan. This position has a significant impact on the first impression patients and visitors experience when calling or arriving into the outpatient units. Incumbents will provide a high level of customer service by interacting with patients, visitors and staff in a professional manner that is proactive, friendly and helpful.

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
