Job summary

Sylvan Hills Middle School-122 in North Little Rock, AR is seeking a part-time General Custodian to keep the school safe, clean, and welcoming for students. Responsibilities include floor care, cleaning, trash removal, and general facilities maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial work or willingness to learn.
• Ability to do physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, mop, wax, and polish floors as needed.
• Vacuum and clean carpet.
• Dust and polish furniture, wash windows, woodwork, venetian blinds, and bathrooms.
• Responsible for removal of trash from assigned areas.
• Clean up grounds and perform the routine tasks required in the care of the grounds.
• Move office and school furniture as needed.
• Perform work at varying heights on a ladder.
• Perform some heavy lifting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
