Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED required.
• Volunteer or professional experience coordinating educational and/or community programs or activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning of educational activities for the program with Educator or Specialist collaboration.
• Identify priority needs and issues to address through 4-H youth programs, including underserved youth.
• Conduct evaluation of program activities and recommend continuations or discontinuations.
• Provide leadership and act as primary contact to volunteers, 4-H members and families.
• Lead the local Expansion and Review Committee.
• Maintain administrative records (4-HOnline, 4-H Fair Entry).
• Disseminate educational information and maintain required records.
• Provide monthly reports to the County Extension Director.
• Recruit, screen and train adult 4-H volunteers.
• Coordinate volunteer trainings and opportunities.
• Maintain regular contact with volunteers via meetings, email and phone.
