Georgia 4-H seeks a part-time AmeriCorps member to deliver 4-H programming to youth under the direction of the County Extension Agent. The role includes planning, implementation, and ongoing volunteer engagement, with some activities delivered virtually as needed.

The position runs 12 months (Sept 1, 2026 – Aug 31, 2027) for 900 total hours (about 20 hrs/week) and requires U.S. citizenship, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a passion for service in a youth-development setting.

Formación

• U.S. citizen with proof of citizenship.
• Ability to plan, develop, and deliver youth programming.
• Experience working with youth is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver 4-H positive youth development programming directly to youth.
• Facilitate/teach 4-H in-school club meetings and prepare students for project achievement.
• Attend 4-H Summer Camp and assist with community service projects.
• Assist with recruitment and engagement of volunteers for the county 4-H program.
• Track data and support monthly reporting for AmeriCorps measures.
