The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a team member for the Wyoming County Cooperative Extension to assist with the 4-H program for youth and adult leaders. This role involves planning and evaluating 4-H activities, supporting registrations, and ensuring the safety of participants.
The successful candidate will need good communication skills and a valid Pennsylvania driver's license, as the job entails work-related driving. Evening and weekend availability is essential, and background checks will be required.
This individual will serve as a Wyoming County Cooperative Extension team member, assisting with the 4-H program for 4-H youth members and adult volunteer leaders.
Time Requirements: Approximately 20 hours/week, fluctuating depending on the time of the year. The individual must be available for evening and weekend events.
Must have valid Pennsylvania driver's license and reliable vehicle. This position requires work-related driving. Successful applicants will not be able to start work until they have received background clearances as per Penn State hiring policies.
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
