Job summary

SchoolHouse Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a middle school assignment in Wickenburg, AZ for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time, on-site position with a four-day work week (Monday-Thursday) and a pay rate of $45–$55 per hour DOE.

The role includes case management, IEP development, and collaboration with school staff to meet district and IDEA requirements. AZ certification and fingerprint clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona teaching certificate with Cross-Categorical Special Education endorsement or eligibility to obtain one.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by AZDPS or eligibility to obtain one.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet district onboarding/health requirements.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the case manager for an assigned middle school caseload.
• Write, implement, and monitor IEPs, and lead IEP meetings.
• Deliver specialized instruction in a resource setting.
• Collect and report progress-monitoring data.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and school administration.
• Comply with district, state, and IDEA documentation timelines.
