Job summary

H. & Val J. Rothschild, Inc. is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to support a 4-day work week schedule (Mon-Thu, 7:00am-4:30pm) with a paid half-hour lunch.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in apartment maintenance, strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills, and a valid boiler license and CPO certification. On-call rotation and responsive service to 600-unit portfolio are expected.

Qualifications

• 2 years of apartment residential maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and troubleshoot issues across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and appliances.
• Handle unit turns and post-maintenance inspections within 24 hours as needed.
• Maintain safety standards and document work performed.
