Job summary

ZRS Management in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deliver skilled, reliable service to residents. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to perform repairs, turnover tasks and preventative maintenance, ensuring safety and efficiency across units and common areas.

Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance maintenance, on-call readiness, and meticulous adherence to safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with proof of automobile insurance coverage.
• EPA certification preferred; if required at a property, must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• Maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances and other areas as needed.
• Complete apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days with turnover checklist.
• Maintain common areas: sweep, mop, vacuum, clean, trash removal, and window cleaning.
• Monitor exterior for roof, siding, shutters and related issues.
• Support an effective preventive maintenance program for the area of responsibility.
• Ensure the safe condition of all equipment and structures under care.
• Enter newly purchased tools or equipment into inventory.
• Keep work area clean and orderly; observe all safety rules.

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician’s primary goal is to provide exceptional service to our residents. The Maintenance Technician will work hand-in-hand with the Maintenance Supervisor to provide skilled, efficient and professional service.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning, appliances, and any other aspect as needed.
• Perform apartment turnover maintenance in three to five business days and turnover checklist completion. Turnover maintenance includes but is not limited to: installation of blinds, change filters, replace bulbs, replace drip pans as needed, and replace door stoppers, caulk, and other miscellaneous repairs as needed.
• Common area maintenance includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, pressure washing, cleaning windows etc.
• Monitor building exterior for issues with roof, siding, shutters, etc.
• Help maintain an effective preventive maintenance program for area of responsibility.
• Assume primary responsibility for the safe condition of all equipment or structures in area of expertise.
• Enter any newly purchased tools or equipment into inventory.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Observe all safety rules.
