Qualifications

• Qualifications: Appropriately Certified for the above-mentioned assignment
• Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of career and technical education subject assigned
• General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
• Ability to oversee student field experiences in career area assigned
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum and demonstrate evidence of preparation
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials that address diverse learning styles and needs
• Assess student learning, plan interventions, and monitor progress
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula as needed for IEPs
• Direct and supervise instructional aides and volunteers as required
• Establish professional relationships and open communication with parents, students, and colleagues
• Participate in staff development and adhere to district policies and procedures
• Comply with regulations related to the occupational area assigned
