Job summary

Carbon Health is seeking a Primary Care Physician for a national network role in California. The position offers a 4-day work week, no call, no weekends, and holidays off to support work-life balance.

You will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care within a collaborative team in a technology-driven environment. Board-certified MD/DO in Family or Internal Medicine with an unrestricted DEA license is required, along with state licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified MD/DO in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with unrestricted DEA license.
  • Licensed to practice in your state.
  • Committed to patient-centered, relationship-driven care.
  • Comfortable providing basic women’s health services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient-focused history and physical exams.
  • Provide basic women’s health services, including Pap smears.
  • Develop evidence-based workups and treatment plans.
  • Care for adult patients (no pediatrics).
  • Interpret x-rays, labs, and EKGs.
  • Manage patient flow with Central Support assistance.
  • Provide leadership for the team of MAs and support staff.
  • Supervise assigned PAs/NPs.
  • Manage a patient panel with emphasis on quality outcomes.
