Job summary

California Closets of Charleston, SC is seeking an Installer for a full-time position with a 4-day work week. You will construct and install custom storage systems based on provided designs, using laminate wood and hardware tools.

You will travel to customer sites, work with CAD drawings, and collaborate to ensure high-quality finishes. Training is provided; strong carpentry skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Must maintain valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Entry level, experience with common hand and power tools.
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills and/or experience installing offices to furniture quality level finishes.
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills; maintain a strong work ethic.
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled carpentry work to install closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in homes or commercial buildings.
• Use CAD drawings/blueprints to install systems accurately and efficiently.
• Provide helper and apprentice level installation support.
• Install locking corner shelves, adjust hampers, install fillers and scribe mold.
• Install doors, side-by-side drawer stacks, and fusion Slat wall systems.
• Install countertops, islands and various trims; ensure proper alignment.
• Travel to customer sites and maintain company vehicles in a safe manner.

Job Summary

Based on provided designs and components, construct, erect, install, and repair custom storage systems and accessories using laminate wood, edge-banding, hardware and other materials, requiring your skills with hand tools and power tools. Training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.
• Utilize company provided CAD drawings\blueprints to properly and efficiently install systems.
• Helper and Apprentice level proficiency with specific product installation procedures.
• Install of Locking Corner Shelves, adjust hampers, install fillers and scribe mold.
• Install and adjust doors and side by side drawer stacks. Install fusion Slat wall system and basic floor based systems.
• Install basic countertops, islands and all types of backing. Install flat trip both base and top trim.
• Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and maintaining company provided vehicles in a safe manner. Report any vehicle problems to the company immediately.
• Full-time, Monday through ThursdayShift
