Votaw Precision Technologies LLC in New Orleans, LA, is seeking an experienced 4/5 Axis Machinist to fabricate complex aerospace components. You will operate and set up 4/5-axis milling machines, read engineering drawings, and ensure high-quality outcomes for critical flight hardware.

This position is based at our sister company, Vivace International Corporation's manufacturing facility in New Orleans, Louisiana. The selected candidate will work on-site at this location as part of Votaw Precision Technologies' extended manufacturing operations, supporting the production of precision-machined components for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced 4/5 Axis Machinist to join our growing team. This position will play a crucial role in the success of our large-scale machined, end-item projects by being responsible and fully accountable for the successful execution and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in complex machined components and flight hardware, with a thorough understanding of space-flight structures, proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics with a keen eye for detail. This role requires a process-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a desire to contribute to a growing company. Previous machining and manufacturing experience in a similar job shop environment is a significant asset. This role is responsible for the operation, set-up & utilization of the 4/5-Axis milling machines as well as other processes used.
