Mohawk Industries Inc. is seeking a Winder Operator for the 3rd shift at our Glasgow, VA facility. The role involves handling yarn through winders, sorting returns, and maintaining equipment per SOPs.

You will participate in housekeeping and safety trainings as required. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a leading global flooring company with strong brands and ongoing process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Check and sort all return yarn from Tufting.
• Rewind yarn on Gilbos and Backwinder.
• Place empty tube on winder.
• Wind packages onto tube.
• Doff full packages and place in yarn box for Tufting.
• Fan off winder.
• Aspirate all skinners ½ inches or less.
• Inspect, sort, and dispose of damaged tubes.
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
