Pro Resources Staffing Services in North Manchester, IN is seeking a 3rd Shift Winder Operator to perform rewind operations, machine setup and changeovers, quality inspection, and related duties on the 10:00 PM–6:00 AM shift.

Responsibilities include setting up re-winding equipment, reading work orders, adjusting speeds and stops, and completing production paperwork while maintaining safety standards. Overtime and weekend availability are required.

3rd Shift Winder Operator

Hours: 10:00PM-6:00AM (Must report 15 minutes prior and stay 15 minutes after shift for changeover)

Pay Rate: $19.33 per hour

Full-time Winder Operator performing rewind operations, machine setup and changeovers, quality inspection, material handling, production paperwork, and routine maintenance in North Manchester.

Key duties

• Analyze work orders and determine production activities.
• Set up and operate re-winding equipment and thread material through the machine.
• Position and secure rolls using sleds and pushers.
• Adjust machine speeds, feeds, controls, cams, and stops.
• Inspect products for proper profile, appearance, defects, and conformance to specifications.
• Make machine adjustments when quality issues are identified.
• Complete production paperwork, including start/stop times, downtime, and raw-material information.
• Perform machine changeovers, startups, routine maintenance, cleanup, and waste removal.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in production meetings and continuous-improvement activities.
