Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. is seeking 3rd shift Welders in Fall River to operate welding machines or robots and fabricate metal parts to specifications. The role offers base pay of $19-$26 per hour with a $5 per hour shift premium and on-the-job training.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, welding experience, and the ability to read blueprints. A FANUC robotic certification is desired, with opportunities for advancement and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; welding knowledge preferred.
• FANUC robotic certification is desired.
• Certificate or degree in welding is preferred.
• At least 2 years welding experience or equivalent.
• Internal welding test is required.
• Knowledge of welding equipment, tools, and maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Good communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding machines or robots to fabricate metal parts per specs.
• Set controls for wire feed speed, amperage, and gas type.
• Inspect finished pieces for conformance to specs.
• Move and adjust machines and fixtures as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and safety standards.
• Perform basic MIG and TIG welding as needed.
