Qualifications

• Previous welding experience preferred; beginners encouraged to apply.
• Must pass Metalcraft's internal welding test.
• Basic knowledge of welding fixtures and setup parameters preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Basic computer skills and use of precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust robotic welding equipment.
• Load and unload parts manually or with hoists.
• Program and adjust welding parameters.
• Read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Inspect finished parts for quality.
• Use gauges and measuring tools to verify parts.
• Clamp, tack-weld, grind, and prepare components.
• Maintain safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Assist at other workstations as production needs require.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
