Responsibilities

• Operates welding machine to join metal spans in metal fabrication process.
• May set up and operate drill presses, punch presses, saws, shears, bending rolls, and other equipment to shape metal.
• Follows blueprints and specifications to shape and weld metal accurately.
• Uses hand and power tools to shape, cut, and smooth metal and blend seams.
• May set up and operate soldering and welding equipment.
