• Monitor for downtime impacts and drive corrective actions.
• Lead small projects or assist Supervisor with project management as needed.
• Monitor machine efficiencies weekly.
• Nesting jobs for lasers and programming for press brakes.

What You’ll Do

As an automation technician, you’ll be part of our team located in Hesston, KS. You’ll get to:

• Program new weld jobs on robotic weld cells. (Approx. 10%)
• Make program adjustments to automated fabrication equipment. (Approx. 15%)
• Develop maintenance programs and perform or oversee preventative maintenance schedules. (Approx. 15%)
• Troubleshoot problems with programs/equipment. Work closely with maintenance and equipment vendors as needed. (Approx. 15%)
• Monitor for corrective action top downtime impacts. (Approx. 10%)
• Perform data driven projects and any other duties as directed by Supervisor. May require some leadership in project management. (Approx. 15%)
• Monitor machine efficiencies weekly. (Approx. 10%)
• Nesting jobs for lasers and programming for press brakes.
