Position: Security Officer
Reports to: Supervisor of Security

Job Description

The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety and security at the facility. The role involves providing protection to employees, inventory, and assets.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze and reevaluate safety/security needs, ensuring proper equipment, policies, and procedures are in place.
2. Monitor production and ensure compliance with security regulations.
3. Regularly update SOPs to meet safety standards.
4. Prepare the facilities and staff for emergency responses.
5. Manage access control for employees and visitors/contractors.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of security experience
• Minimum age: 21
• No prior criminal background
• Computer literacy with understanding of video/access control systems
• Strong communication skills

Additional Details

• Shift: Monday - Friday, 10PM - 6AM
• Physical demands include standing for 8 hours, lifting up to 70 pounds, and visual requirements.
