Job summary

Steel and Pipe Supply is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for the Kansas City Service Center. You will load/unload steel modules from trucks and manage storage with overhead cranes, ensuring accurate placement and traceability of inventory.

The role requires basic math, reading instructions, and simple computer tasks. You will work the 3rd shift from midnight to 8:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, with several benefits and a focus on safety.

Qualifications

Must be 18+ years old and have a valid driver’s license.
Basic math and literacy skills to read instructions and use hand tools.
Basic computer skills required for routine tasks and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

Load and unload material (steel) from trucks and store it in service centers using overhead cranes.
Ensure all steel pieces are accounted for and correctly placed to support accurate inventory.
Follow safety policies and safe work practices to foster a safety-oriented culture.
Assist with occasional processes like cutting/bending as part of service center operations.
