Job summary

Steel and Pipe Supply is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for the 3rd shift at our Kansas City service center. You will load and unload steel using overhead cranes, and store it in designated locations to ensure on-time material delivery to customers.

A strong emphasis on safety and accurate inventory is essential. Expect a 3rd shift schedule (midnight to 8:30 a.m., Monday–Friday), physical work including lifting up to 51 lbs, and opportunities for overtime, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• 18+ years old requirement.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic literacy for reading instructions and using hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload steel from trucks using overhead cranes.
• Store steel at service centers and ensure accurate location and inventory.
• Adhere to safety policies and promote a safe work environment.
